Causes-
1. The loss of Germany resulted in the rejection of the German Empire.
2. A democratic constitution with a federal construction was formed by the National Assembly at Weimar and the Weimar public came into the world.
3. After the end of the First World War (1914–1918), Germany was exhausted and sued for peace in desperate circumstances.
4. After they knew of imminent defeat it sparked a revolution, the renouncing of Kaiser Wilhelm II, formal surrender to the Allies, and the proclamation of the Weimar Republic on the 9th of November 1918
5. The Treaty of Versailles led to economic poverty in Germany, which the Weimar Republic was brought into.
Effects-
1. led to the rise of Hitler and his party because the Hitler Party promised jobs for all.
2. The Weimar Republic started to become unsuccessful with the rise of Hitler.
3. The Weimar Republic went into hyperinflation, political murders, and people suffering.
4. The great depression and the Weimar Republic were happening around the same time and a lot of people were struggling to afford to even live and provide for their family.
5. In the 1920s, there were about 28 different parties, which meant fewer chances of one getting a majority.
6. It was meant for not one person to have most of the power; it was hoped to end dictatorships.
