The current age of the 8thLR. The start of this age deals with the aftermath of The Proposal and forging the next administration under Attila.

Attila's administration was more primed to serious play, ideally starting the idea of more competitive play at some point.

Ghillie's administration so far has been an extension of that. With his choice in Oberstleutnant, the idea of Naval began to arise again, thus the reappearance of naval events into the schedule.

Both administrations stressed the idea of serious play, the latter of the two slowly beginning to dip their toes back into competitive play.

During this period, the EU side of the reg would become severely inconsistent in terms of numbers. Ghillie noticed this and got tired of the cancellation of events, and would basically pull out of the EU side, sidelining their events for the forseeable future.

It's worth noting the uptick in quality mercenaries coming frequently to events in this period as well, mostly from the 26th and the FRL.
