Throughout the 60s and 70s anti-war protest was a common thing.
Many believed that this is a war to be fought by North and South
Vietnamese people, and the United States had no place in it.
Protesters would create songs, partake in teach-ins where
anti-war activists would meet and discuss, and some would draft dodge,
meaning people would flee the US to avoid being conscripted into Vietnam. (3 Jan 1960 Jahr – 1 Jan 1970 Jahr)
