Transatlantic slave trade (1 Jan 1500 Jahr – 1 Jan 1865 Jahr)

Beschreibung:

Between the 16th and 19th century until the ban of slavery there was a transatlantic three-way exchange called the triangular trade.
The colonies in the new world needed cheap workforce on their planations and in their mines to produce goods needed in Europe. So the European exchange goods manufactured in Europe for African slaves, which were transported to the colonies via the Middle Passage.
In the colonies the Africans were sold into slavery and the ships were loaded with goods produced in the colonies and exported to Europe.
In Europe the goods were exchange for manufactured good to trade in Africa for new slaves.
