The Gupta Empire was an ancient Indian empire founded by Sri Gupta. During the Gupta dynasty there were many advancements in science, technology, religion, and the arts. An example of these advancements is a mathematical innovation. It is zero. Although they did not call it zero it is what zero is in the modern number system. The Gupta dynasty is seen almost as a golden age of India. It fits the period 2 key concept of the Development of Sates and Empires
