the Great Elven war (16 Okt 5744 Jahr – 16 Okt 5763 Jahr)

For many years, LonLieth sat in harmony. Until Elves arrived on the South Shore. They came with violent intentions. They Set up camp on the shore while their explorers traveled off to explore this unconquered land. First they found the Humans. They acted confused, having never seen humans Before. they attacked without questions, and a massacre ensued. quickly, after that, word spread of a new threat. Humans Banded together, prepared to face this new, stronger beings. the first true attempt at getting back at the elves went very wrong, leading to nearly a 90% loss of life.

This sparked a true leadership in this new war. While they had never been at odds, the Humans of the Land never tried to make friends. That all changed when Warren Daibree Took to the helm of the Humans. He led many training camps, and trained nearly 15,000 men and women. He was approached about a year later after the Elves layed attack on the nearby Orc settlement. Soon, A treaty was signed, and The army Grew. Artificers and Blacksmiths were in their element. some of the men and women volunteered to Spy on the elves, prepared to discover all they could, but what they discovered was terrifying.

The elves ships were massive, and there were more coming to shore. they had set up their Camp on the Shore and could build faster then any team of humans ever could. They must have Magic. General Daibree contacted the local Wizards guild, The Vanguardian Wizards. The talks lasted for months, launching small bands to other known settlements of Humans and orcs to gain manpower. eventually, Months later, a treaty was reached, and the wizards joined the fray.

The next big even happened 3 years after the elves arrived. they had progressed far west to the smoking volcano, but were stopped by the Wood elves of the forest, who quickly surrendered and allowed them to pass through the woods to meet the dwarfs.

The Dwarves put up quite a fight, fending off the elves for quite a time, but unfortunately, they couldn't last forever. While the Dwarves had the home turf advantage, the elves had persistency and numbers. When the Elves arrived in the city proper, they were proud of themselves, having captured another corner of this new continent. The Dwarves looked run down and honestly, they were surprised they had lasted so long with such a small number. we showed them mercy, and allowed them to live. We took the names of the Council, so that we could always get in contact, but they only had titles for names once they became of the council.

It only took the Dwarves a week, after the Elves had left, to assemble an army equipped to forge and battle. They marched with The War Chief Of The Council, caring a document that allowed this army to join the already growing human one in the central continent. They signed an Ally Ship agreement when the eventually arrived, and started crafting better blades and armor for the Humans and Orcs.

Many more clashes of the armies on the small scale started. The Battle of the Cliffs was the first success under the Army, dealing a massive blow by injuring their general. the others of much less notoriety.

The final battle Happened September 1st, 5760. the elves had grown tired of their opposition, they are on equal ground in terms of Numbers and they marched to meet them at their base. The day was cold for September, the chill of winter in the air already. the Elves and humans had been a war for 16 years, the General grew tired of this act, He wanted a safe place to put roots down With his wife Back home, but he needed to put down the opposition to do that.

They marched for a week before the battle, meeting the Humans in their own town. Eventually after nearly a full 2 days of fighting, the Human alliance raised it white flag, they had many casualties, and they agreed that this needed to stop. The elves agreed, and so the Council of All was formed.

The council of All represented every sentient being Located on the continent. The council was Headed by Cirdan Shafire, the General of the elves. General Daibree represented the human contingency. The Peace Council Member Represented the Dwarves and the Orc Chief Sunodagh represented the Orcs. They Argued for hours each time they met, but slowly they came to a treaty of peace that would suit all parties mostly.

The General of the elves would be the new King of the land, and his castle would go where the humans had once been. The Council would stay on, electing a new representative every 25 years. the Orcs would get their strongholds back. The Dwarves we left alone. The Humans were expected to pick up the pieces of their life and make a new home. some humans decided to move to the new elven town that was forming next to the massive area for the castle. and so a new era was formed.
