Development and Deployment of Intelligence Quotient (IQ) Tests (1900-1930) *Jaya (1 Jan 1900 Jahr – 1 Jan 1930 Jahr)

Beschreibung:

In 1905, Alfred Binet and Theodore Simon created the first practical IQ test, the Binet-Simon scale, in France to identify school children needing special education. The Binet-Simon scale was brought to the United States, where it was revised by Lewis Terman at Stanford University, leading to the 1916 development of the Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scales, a standard intelligence test used in the U.S. Throughout the 1920s, the use of IQ testing expanded, particularly with the Army tests during World War. This expansion significantly influenced the field of psychological testing and solidified the role of IQ tests in educational and military settings (Fass, 1980).
