Over the span of the Reagan Presidency, his administration supports a group in Nicaragua called the Contras in an attempt to go against the current government who was acting as a safe house for the Soviets. AT the same time they were also supporting a right wing dictatorship in El Salvedor who was fighting against leftist rebel groups.
