Fall Of Rome: The emperor Diocletan began reforms to restore integrity and cohesion to the imperial administration, one of which included turning the executive into a tetrarchy, but after his death this led to 7 different pretenders to the title of Augustus in 308, but Constantine was able to win and he moved the capital to Byzantine in the east to reinvigorate the empire. This reinvigoration was not long lasting and in 395 with the death of Theodosius, the empire was split between west and east, and in 410, the visigoths sacked Rome and the western empire fell in 476.
