In what would later be recognized as "The final war ever fought on Earth" the West African nation of Mauritania mounted an anarchic armed revolt against the established U.N.E. government on ideological and political grounds. While this short lived and unsuccessful rebellion is far from the most influential in human history, it is noteworthy for being the last war humans ever waged on the surface of the earth.
