This was a huge hurricane that within a span of 8 days it was able to cause over 100 billion dollars in damages. This was a Category 5 storm. Category 5 is the highest that they can go. There was 1,392 deaths and more than 7,500 injured. This was a huge impact on how the US rebuilt after it because they had to improve their buildings so that the 80% of houses wouldn't fall again.
