Beschreibung:

Rousseau was an Enlightenment thinker whose main ideas were that man starts off good and that the government should be based off what the people want. Rousseau believed that in man's natural state where he is in unity with nature is when he is good, but after he is introduced to society he becomes corrupted. Rousseau's idea of the social contract was that the government should make decisions based on the will of the majority of the people.
