The Qing Dynasty was the last imperial dynasty of China. The Qing originated from the northern part of China and were called Manchu (or Manchuria). The Qing adopted many of the Chinese civil and cultural practices, but also introduced many Manchu practices. Under Emperor Qianlong, China saw a prosperous period. The empire also conquered the Mongol and Muslim forces. Vietnam, Korea and Burma were brought under chinese influence.
