The Mongols (aka China's Yuan dynasty) (1 Jan 1206 Jahr – 1 Jan 1326 Jahr)
Beschreibung:
Created by Temujin, aka Chinggis Khan, the Mongol empire broke up existing tribal organizations and based military leadership on skill rather than kinship or tribal status. Mongols were immensely successful because of their skill with horses, and their bows. After the death of Temujin, the Mongol empire was divided into four khanates, covering most of Asia. The Mongols resisted assimilation in China and attacked chinese culture, but Chinese culture flourished regardless. In Persia, Mongol rulers were very tolerant and assimilated over time. Mongols were largely Shamanist. Mongols encouraged transportation networks and integration of Eurasian people into their empire.
