Beschreibung:

The Sandinista governemnt was a communist group that seized power in 1979 n Nicaragua.

The Contras (a violent anti-commuist group) began fighting the Sandinistas and even violently killing them.

The Iran-Contra Affair was basically Reagan negotiating Iran to let go of hostanges from the Iran-hostage crisis and in return the US sell them weapons. The money the US received was then give to the Contras.

Reagan lied about any knowlege of this exchange.
