It was between Egypt, Babylon, Minoan, Mycenaean, Hittites, and more.
Sea People: They were soldiers that attacked the countries involved. They destroyed everything they came across, and was only fought off by Egypt.
What:
Drought, famine, earthquakes, disease and attacks from wandering soldiers all at once.
Trade was prospering between the nations involved before.
They were capable of keeping records and building large structures. But they lost the ability to do these things after the collapse.
Afterwards people switch from bronze to iron. This created a shift in ages.
When: 1200 BCE-1150 BCE
Where: The Mediterranean, Western Middle East, Egypt, and Greece.
Why: Where did the sea people come from?
From places in Europe, most likely moved due to drought ruining there crops.
Timely Impact:
Many cities and civilizations were destroyed. Every country involved struggled to survive through the collapsing economy and privilege.
Lasting Impact:
reduction in advancements, that would take a lot longer to recreate. Started the iron age and ended the bronze age.
