Progressive Era (1 Jan 1890 Jahr – 1 Jan 1920 Jahr)

Beschreibung:

1 - During the progressive era there was many reforms that were going on. One of them was fake advertising, where most companies would put fake advertisements on their products so that they would sell. Another one was empirical food and drugs were the food of these companies were not as sanitized as there were supposed to and people were fed up. Lastly was women's suffrage and what they went through and how they didn't have any rights.
2 - The three presidents during the progressive era was Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, Woodrow Wilson.
3 - J.P Morgan was one of those monopolies owners during the progressive era, J.P Morgan owned an investment bank that is still around today and also owned a lot of banks, John D Rockefeller is another one, he own a oil refinery.
4 - Jacob Reese, Lincoln Steffens, Ida Tarbell were 3 people who were trying to fight for a change during the whole progressive era.
