The impact of the second industrial revolution was the production of steel and oil. Steel allowed more job opportunities for the unemployed and assembly line workers. Oil allowed the creation of factories to become massive businesses and create cars and other technologies. Furthermore, the assembly line helped jobs advance and people get more financially + socially involved. Lastly, mass production socially advanced the economy, since things were becoming more effective and efficient.
