Qin shi huang (1 Jan 259 Jahr v. Chr. – 1 Jan 210 Jahr v. Chr.)

Beschreibung:

In 246 BCE Ying Zheng inherited the throne of the state of Qin. Which was one of the 7 major warring states, Qin Qi Chu Yan Han Zhao Wei, of the time. He along with his advisor, Li Si, defeated the other warring states and became the first emperor of the Qin dynasty. He established a fully centralized government and abolished the territorial feudal powers by forcing them to all move into the capital. He also took many Imperial tours to inspect his country and perform sacrifices to sacred sites. Qin Shi Huang was also very interested in finding something to make him immortal and summoned many magicians and potion makers to try.

Qin Shi Huang died during one of his imperial tours, probably due to his consumption of “immortality potions” that might have had poisonous material in them. He was seen traditionally as a tyrant, inhuman, and superstitious. But, in the modern day, historians stress his achievements and accomplishments which shaped the way all subsequent dynasties are.
