Alaska Railroad developed (1 Jan 1915 Jahr – 1 Jan 1923 Jahr)

Beschreibung:

Railroad was built from Seward to Fairbanks with the help of congressional funds. Earlier construction on parts of the railroad began as early as 1903. It was used to transport minerals and resources from interior Alaska to barges and ships. It is still in use and takes commerical passengers.
