Churchill, Roosevelt, and Stalin met to discuss ongoing war strategy and plans for a postwar Europe. They finalized plans for a renewed Russian offensive to draw German troops away from France so America and England could invade. Stalin agreed to declare war against Jap-an after Germany was defeated in exchange for some islands and 2 ice free ports. Poland's borders were redrawn again, former Soviet states gained the ability to vote on whether or not to stay a part of the USSR, and postwar partitioning of Germany was brought up for the first time. Many of the agreements were tentative and would not be fully defined until later conferences in 1945.
