The Night of Broken Glass or Kristallnacht was the massacre of Jews. This was named this because there was shattered glass from stores due to the anti-Semitism toward the Jews from Nazis. Many were arrested without them doing any crimes and there religious areas such as synagogues were wrecked. Also Jewish owned stores and homes were torn apart, this was to support Hitler.
