Jan Hus had a call for a high level of mortality among the priesthood. He believed that in order for the clergy to live a life that was Christ-like, they should renounce all material possessions. He opposed many of the aspects Catholic Church yet in 1415, he was condemned as a heretic against the doctrines of the Catholic Church. He was burned at the stake.
