King Narmer was the pharaoh to unify both Upper and Lower Egypt. Making him the first pharaoh of a unified Egypt. Narmer initiated many military campaigns into Lower Egypt to defeat rebellions and into Nubia and Canaan to expand Egypt's borders as well as many large building projects. He increased the nations trade greatly and created a central government.
