Hitler turns to the 3 million Germans living in Czechoslovakia known as the Sudetenland (1 Sept 1938 Jahr – 27 Sept 1938 Jahr)

He wanted to bring them into his Reich. This caused a huge conflict because Czechoslovakia didn't want to give them up. Neville Chamberlain met with Hitler during this crisi in Munich and made the decision that Hitler could have the Sudetenland in exchange for Germany making no further demands for land in Europe (Munich Agreement). Hitler said he wouldn't conquer any more land and everyone was happy because they thought peace was achieved.
