-Mary and Carlisle tour Haxby Park. Mrs. Hughes visits Ethel. Major Gordon tells Edith he is Patrick Crawley. Carlisle tells Lady Grantham to bring Lavinia back. Mary asks Carson to come to Haxby Park.
-The Dowager interests Mrs. Crawley in refugees. Lord Grantham tells the family about Major Gordon's claim. Lady Grantham tells Mrs. Hughes that Major Bryant has been killed at Vittorio Veneto.
-Edith believes Major Gordon. Mrs. Hughes tells Ethel that Major Bryant is dead. Carlisle says he will leave on the 9 o'clock tomorrow, and "be back on the night of the 10th." Lord Grantham announces the forthcoming end of the war.
-Bates and Carlisle leave for London. Mrs. Crawley says she will not run Downton after the war. Bates returns late, injured.
-Nov. 10 - Lord Grantham reveals information from Murray on Major Gordon. Edith tells Major Gordon what has been discovered. Carlisle arrives back after dinner, with Lavinia. Carlisle threatens Mary.
-Nov. 11 - Major Gordon leaves Downton. Armistice ceremony.
