The Second Industrial Revolution was a big industrial growth after the civil war. Large Corps managed the manufacturing of raw materials like coal, iron, and oil. It was a period when advances in steel production, electricity, and petroleum caused a big change in society.
John D. Rockefeller was an industrialist who found the Standard Oil Company. Which was the first great U.S business trust. His company grew very big that it wiped out the competition in less than two months. John D. Rockefeller gave us advice on how to become rich he said "If you want to succeed you should strike out on new paths, rather than travel the worn paths of accepted success."
