Dollar Diplomacy (1 Jan 1909 Jahr – 1 Jan 1913 Jahr)

Beschreibung:

President Taft used this term for his Foreign policy of using dollars instead of bullets and thus, encourage private bankers to invest in Latin America so that American Banks would be in control of Latin American assets. However, he also used 2,000 troops in Latin America to guarantee economic stability. Therefore President Taft continued the imperialist and aggressive foreign policy of Roosevelt.
