Japanes Interment during WWII (1 Jan 1942 Jahr – 1 Jan 1945 Jahr)

Beschreibung:

WWII caused hysteria in the U.S. against Japanese Americans and resulted in their interment in housing camps across the U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt issued Executive Order 9066 in 1942, which authorized melty commanders on the west coast to take all measures necessary for national security. Therefore, the Japanese were forced to leave their homes and their belongings and their businesses, and relocate to internment campus in Arizona, California, Colorado, Texas and other states. They were stripped of their rights under the Bill of Rights and the 14th Amendment. In 1944, President Roosevelt rescinded Executive Order 9066, and in 1988, Congress issued an apology and $20,000 in reparations to 60,000 Japanese Americans that were still living.
