"Baghdad Battery" or "Parthian Battery" 150 BC - 233 AD (approximately) (1 Jan 150 Jahr v. Chr. – 1 Jan 223 Jahr)

Beschreibung:

The set of 3 artifacts which were, a ceramic pot, a tube of copper, and a rod of iron, resembling possible early battery knowledge and usage. It is hypothesized to be the first galvanic cell battery in history. Replicas were created with similar material and connected together later proving that this did hold an electric charge and confirmed the hypotheses from the scientists. Scientists also believe this type of device was used to electroplate silver.
