This was Zheng He’s fourth voyage, which extended the scope of expeditions further. This time, in addition to visiting many of the same sites, Zheng He led his 63 ships and over 28,000 men to Hormuz, which was on the Persian Gulf. A chronicler, someone who documented the voyages, joined Zheng He on this trip. His name was Ma Huan. *Route is on pictures below.*
