Beschreibung:

The Tosefta is the secondary major compilation of legal statements of the Tannaim, organized using the same structure as the Mishna and quoted frequently in the Jerusalem Talmud. Its' exact date of redaction is disputed. It is frequently less tightly edited and thus slightly more broad in scope than the Mishna, and is generally used in Jewish law to add insight to particulars of the law that the Mishna does not address as thoroughly.
