Named after the city in the Philippines, the Battle of Bataan resulted in Japanese victory after the US are forced to retreat after 3 months of combat. After the evacuation, more than 60,000 American and Filipino troops were left behind face-to-face with the approaching Japanese military.

After losing the Philippines to Japan, the United States now only occupied Hawaii and the islands of Midway.
