Beschreibung:

Thomas Jefferson called for expedition to explore the newly purchased Louisiana Territory. This expedition was also known as the Corps of Discovery Expedition. Lewis and Clark led the trip and succeeded in achieving their goals given to them by Jefferson. Their mission was to explore the unknown territory, establish trade relations with the Native people and find a waterway from the United States to the Pacific Ocean.
