This would make Samuel approx 82-109 yrs at the time of his death which is calculated from 1 Sam 25/1.
Samuel died near the end of Sauls wars on David (25/1) but more that 1yr and 4 months before Saul is slain (27/7)

Samuel was also considered a Judge and a Prophet.
