Beschreibung:

From 1910 to 1970, young Indigenous Australians were taken from their homeland and moved to institutions. These places were basically orphanages even though they still had family. At these places, they were forced to act like a European. The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders were not allowed to speak their language and most never saw their families ever again. Lots tried to escape these horrible places but few succeeded.
