World War II (1 Sept 1939 Jahr – 2 Sept 1945 Jahr)

Beschreibung:

Adolf Hitler, leader of the Nazi party invaded Poland on September 1, 1939. Great Britain and France declared war on Germany, this started the Second World War. Many countries formed treaties. On December 7, 1941 Japan launched a surprise attack and bombed the US fleet docked in Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. On August 6, 1945 a B-29 bomber from the US dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima. Japan surrendered and this ended World War II. An estimated 85 million people lost their lives during World War II.
