World War II started on the 1st of September, 1939 by Adolf Hitler invading Poland. The Axis Powers (Germany, Italy and Japan) fought against the Allies (France, Great Britain, the United States, the Soviet Union and China). The Axis Powers aim was to eliminate all Jews. On the 2nd of September, 1945, the Allies invaded Germany. When Hitler was going to be killed, he commited suicide resulting in Germany surrendering and the Allies winning yet again. In this war, 85 million people died in this horrific war of the world.
