Beschreibung:

France, Austria (a breakthrough alliance of long-time competitors) and Russia against Prussia, which became a threat, and England.

France fought England on the seas and was later joined by Spain. However, England prevailed, taking over French Canada, more territories in the future States and greater influence in Africa and India. The war secured Great Britain's position as the greatest colonial power in the world.

The war spelled trouble for Prussia, fighting on two fronts against Austria and Russia. In the end Russia backed away after a change on the throne and Prussia came out relatively unscathed. Soon after, Prussia grew more powerful after annexing former Polish territories in the partitioning of Poland.
