TR implemented many different policies during his presidency. He developed the "Big Stick Diplomacy" which was very forceful and utilized the military to press American interests overseas. He created the "Roosevelt Corollary" which threatened neighboring countries against conducting buisness with foreign governments that could potentially harm the US. He also was instrumental in finishing the Panama Canal. The importance of the canal was that it cut steaming time of vessles in half and we became more able to move goods and services and the military. TR was replaced by Taft.
