When the US Pacific Forces fought Japan. They fought because Japan tried to destroy the rest of the US fleet in the Pacific and try to capture Midway Island. Japan also wanted to cut of Astralia because they were allied with America. Japan lost after the US Pacific Forces clashed with Japan.
