Description: The German- Soviet Non-Aggression Pact was a Pact between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union and it was a promise to not engage in any military action against each other.
Cause 1: Hitler wanted this pact to happen because his intention was to invade Poland without being unopposed by any other power.
Cause 2: Hitler knew that if he invaded Poland, he knew that France and Britain from the Soviet Union would stop him, so he knew that he could invade Poland and deal with France and Britain afterwards.
Effect 1: Hitler knew he would stick with the pact so after he betrayed it, it created more of a disturbance between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany.
Effect 2: because of what Hitler had done he moved his forces to the west for his offences. After all these events the Soviet Union leader Joseph Stalin saw what was coming, the potential event of WW2 and started preparing for it.
