The Yuan Dynasty was China’s first foreign led dynasty, between the Chinese Song and Ming dynasties. The dynasty was established by Kublai Khan, leader of the world-renowned Mongol Empire but soon after the dynasty turned into internal rebellion after their connection lost touch with the Mongol roots.
