The New Kingdom lasted from 1600 to 1100 B.C.E. Egypt's Golden age is a nickname given to the New kingdom. Egypt gained lots of power so there was peace. To Egyptians the Pharos were the same as Gods, so every time a Pharaoh died he or she would be honnerd by a stautue.
