A masked mob, allegedly composed of Hindu extremists from the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, armed with rods and sticks attacks the campus of Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi and injured more than 40 students and teachers.[207] The attack is described as an attempt to suppress student activism during the Citizenship Amendment Act protests.[208]
