Shut Down - Itunes Ping (1 Jan 2010 Jahr – 1 Jan 2012 Jahr)

Itunes Ping was a social networking feature within Itunes where users could add friends, follow artists, and look up local concerts. Similar to the functions in Spotify. Ping included a feature that allowed listeners to access a 90 second preview of a song, however, this became redundent instead of enhancing the Itunes experience. This eventually lead to the shut down of this social media.
