-Labor in the progressive era was terrible. There was problems in big business for workers-Long hours, low wages, and safety issues
working conditions was very intense and the owners didn't care about the safety.
-The companies realized that children were good to work because their fingers were small enough to get into the machines and fix what was in the machine. The Immigrants worked and lived in horrible conditions.
