Renovation of the Palace of Versailles (20 Okt 1661 Jahr – 7 Jun 1710 Jahr)

The original residence in Versailles was for Louis XIII and his family as a hunting lodge and a private retreat. However, in 1661, Louis XIV renovated the place to make it much more brilliant in an attempt to centralize France. The palace was made capable to house up to 20,000 people, and over 2,000 windows lied on the palace. The Palace of Versailles is a tremendous tribute to art, and the perfection and synchronization that Louis XIV demanded from his people.
