On December 5 with both sides having there Morale being low and many Texans wanting to leave Ben Milam said “ Who will go to Ol` Ben Milam” and so about 300 went into the city to attack the city, and with the help of many Mexican troops just giving up and surrendering The Texans won a decisive battle with only between 30 to 35 wounded, and about 5 or 6 killed. Meanwhile, on the Mexican side, 150 Mexican soldiers were killed or wounded during the Battle
