By 1990 Coke had established itself a solid association with sports (Olympics, FIFA, Rugby and, Baseball. In 1993 Coke put out a new add showing animated polar ears enjoying Cokes together and having a good time. This aired while new markets opened up for Coke. East Germany and India allowed Coke into their markets.

A Cola also added in new products under the Coca Cola foundation like Powerade and Oasis. It also acclaimed Limca Maaza and Thumbs up. By 1997 Coca Cola had sold over 1 billion serving of its products.
